how do i stop emails coming, when ive posted on threads ....thankyou ...

Go to your profile. On left column go to settings...general settings. You will get a screen where you can edit your preferences. Click there to not get emails from the site.

You may need to do it again as we are on a different platform, uncheck email related options.
