Yes, it is like May here and I have been spending time cleaning up my gardens and resting on my deck. It is fantastic! How about you?
 

Cold ocean breezes may keep your brother on the cooler side but nothing like February normally is like. I went to Florida for the month of February a couple of times in the past just to escape winter...
 

Yes, I stayed in Venice which I referred to as the Newport of Florida...
 
My thing was raking the beach for prehistoric shark teeth. They are black and polished by the shifting sand; I found a few...
 
Not enjoying the back porch today, a new foot of snow on the ground, last night was 5 degrees, and today was in the 20s, had to leave the pup home for our walk in the snowy park.

I bet my grandson's yard looks like this and he's only about 40 minutes from my house but further up the mountain. I told him on the phone tonight "I'm so sorry your mom told me you had to pull a sled of groceries up your drive way." (Their drive way is over a mile long and very steep) He said "Grandma, I'm just thankful I own a sled and didn't have to carry them." They have 14 inches of snow now.
