Enjoying the first hot meal in weeks

It's been so hot, I didn't want to use the oven. So now that's it's more comfortable, I'm heating one of those bake and serve pizzas. I get a plain cheese one, then add my own extra toppings.

You know what I got, at the Goodwill no less - one of these: Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill - Cuisinart

Mine is about a 2022 model, not nearly as expensive as the new one above. It was like new.

But gosh, that thing is perfect for summer cooking and for one or two people. It has a convection oven option so you can bake things quickly and it does not throw off a lot of heat at all. Makes very good baked potatoes in about 30 minutes and they have a much better texture than microwaved potatoes.

Fish on Fridays. We are having rainbow trout, with blanched almonds, served with sweetcorn on a bed of wild rice.
