Streit's: Matzo and the American Dream is the story of the last family-owned matzo bakery in America during their final year at their historic New York City factory.

This video brought back memories of when I worked in a factory when I was young. People did the same work every day, year after year, decade after decade... That would drive me nuts. And the noise!

At this point in my life, looking back, it had some value, and now it's just interesting to see that lifestyle and work environment. Some of the people are interesting.

The Lower Eastside of Manhattan is becoming gentrified, driving up the cost of operating a business there. Streit's held out as long as they could, but finally had to relocate to Orangeburg, which is just across the Hudson from Yonkers.

I often buy Manischewitz without giving it much thought, but guess who owns Manischewitz? Wall Street! None other than Bain Capital!

So from now on, I'm going to look for Streit's. Some of the King Sooper's stores sell Streit's. They have an Amazon store, but I'm worried that all the matzos would be broken by the time they got here. Meh, I'll give it a try.
