Epley manuver for dizziness.

For a bit of medical history prior to my upcoming nose surgery the doc ask me if I had any ongoing medical problems and I told him that I fell the end of July, was diagnosed with a concussion and that my dizziness was just as bad now, even with using Antivert, as it was when it happened.

He told me that since the CT Scan didn't show any severe brain damage or bleeding that what I had was more than likely BPPV and he ask me if anyone had suggested or done the Epley Maneuver on me yet and I told him no and he seemed rather shocked that I'd been putting up with the dizziness for this long and that no one had suggested it yet and also said that I could do it at home, by watching one of several YouTube videos, or have a ENT doc do it which he felt was safer from a monitoring standpoint during the procedure because I'll more than likely have severe dizziness and may very well get sick to my stomach during the procedure.

I did quite a bit of Google'in on the subject and then called my ENT doc and I've got an appointment this coming Tues. morning, hopefully I can get this dizziness cleared up......we'll see.

Sorry to hear you still have problems with the dizziness Ike. I never heard of that manuver, seems like you have to get it just right for it to work, good luck.
