My lady friend went to the hospital ER because of her Bi-polar condition and a doctor found she has dementia also. She always asking me directions when she been there hundreds of times when she's driving her car. I wonder could this be more Bi-polar or dementia?

Studies have been done to figure out if there's a link between bi-polar disorder and dementia, but I've never read the results. You can find these studies online, probably. Try searching "is there a link between bi-polar disorder and dementia", or something similar.

Sounds more like dementia. We have both in our family to deal with.
