Eric Clapton had a severe reaction to covid vaccine

Brave of Eric. His commentary about his hands starts at about 12:48 -- but he did get his hand functionality back about three weeks later. Can you imagine?!

This kind of reminds me of the Jack Nicholson line in "As Good As It Gets" — "no, and I'm not going to let you inject me with the plague, either".
 

I got both of my jabs and I'm glad to have them. Articles like this are very questionable at the least. Over 2 million people get the jab with a certain drug. 27 of these 2 million have "blood clot" problems. Of these 27, 6 died. The negative media out there is screaming in their headlines, BLOOD CLOTS, BLOOD CLOTS, BLOOD CLOTS, like we are all going to die! Me thinks that perhaps they got their blood clots because they were going to get them anyway? Anyway, I read this morning that almost all the new Covid-19 patients in the US are people who never got the jab. You don't want the jab? Fine with me but I got mine because I really don't want to die from Covid-19 and I am sick and tired of wearing and looking at zombies wearing all those diapers. I want my life back. I want the libraries to open up because I love books. I want the senior centers to open up too. I am sick and tired of hiding in my room at my age wondering when this pandemic will be over.
 
Glad he spoke up. He also had a pre existing condition which was gradually getting worse. He said after the shot it went from pain, numbness etc to he could not use his hands for 3 weeks.

The problem with any shot/vax the body is already working on alot stuff already wether it be a disease, injury, cancer etc. All it's resources are being diverted to the new intruder called the vax for what ever disease. It's a shock so a lot of other conditions aren't going to get the help they need from the body.

At least Clapton spokeout. Other celebrities old or new might very well have had a reaction but didn't want to admit to it. There are alot of people out there that have no problems talking about their colostomy over dinner but will never admit to anything negative about themselves to others or a doctor. 'I had the shot no problem as growl and flex their muscles'.

This germ virus in it's natural form loves pre existing conditions especially diabetes and high bp so why wouldn't a potent variation of the samething not do the same.

But I have never heard so many having a negative reactions in my life period to a vax or even chemo. If one wants to advance a medical, pharma or research career they are going to put up/shut up rather than show up to complain, note adverse affects etc. Same for those that simply want the pack, herd or mob as big as they can get it: take the vax like me.

One would be foolish to think that anyone knows anything about any vaccine, yet, that does not make the makers or inventors of vaccines should be subjected to the names you have used. In point of fact, what have YOU or I or ANYONE here done for the human race in general, in this crisis, but sit around and flap our jaws?

I have done nothing, I am not capable of doing anything. What have you done? At least they have tried.

That plays to what I've been hearing - that negative reactions and problems are far greater than are being reported.
 
I’m with Packer John. Had 2 Moderna shots, Feb & March. Only minor fatigue and arthritis aches. My diabetes is still well controlled, as is blood pressure, fine cardiogram & chest X-ray. I feel sorry for anyone had side effects but but some of the same people who are afraid of shot side effects would cheerfully go out and knowingly get themselves a bad hangover or indigestion., or badly strained muscles & think nothing of it.
I’m NOT trying to tell people they should go get it, but I hate the way the anti vaxxers are polluting the air with falsehoods, rumors and made up sensational stories, just to get attention.

Possible Long term effects of the vaccine? Still being explored.
Known. Long term effect of many COVID cases: DEATH. Very long term.

My mistake. He couldn't play for two weeks after the second shot. Being sick for two weeks from the vaccine is far better than being dead from covid-19, and with his health problems, it probably would have killed him

You'd think, with all his millions of dollars he would have consulted with a doctor rather than listening to the "propaganda" on social media, but he seems a bit intellectually lazy. It's been all over the news that some people have adverse reactions to the vaccines. He was just one of the unlucky ones. He's had so much luck during his life; this time, I was luckier since I didn't have much of a reaction.

True, and several of his good friends died young, such as Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman. But he's also had an incredible amount of good luck, mainly being a gifted guitarist and being in the right place at the right time to capitalize on his talents.

Maybe he's matured, grown wiser over time. He survived which requires adaptation and change.

I hit the roof when they play Cocaine on the radio. A song about an illegal drug? He was on my avoid list until recent times regardless of early stuff ie Yardbirds

In terms of losing friends to overdoses v. watching your little boy running across the room and plunging himself out of a 53rd story window, I'd pick your own little baby's death as the worst thing imaginable; way more than choking on your own adult vomit.

In Eric's case, more talent than luck although I never take luck out of the equation. Cute, too.

He didn't actually see his son jump out the window. He wasn't living with his son's mother at the time but was on his way over to pick him up for lunch when he received the call about what happened. And then he wrote a song about it and made millions from it and allowed it to be used in a movie soundtrack.
 
Someone, even @Aunt Marg 😂, explain to me why this subject keeps getting rehashed, please. Some people are allergic to peanuts. Does that mean we all can’t eat peanuts? Does that mean we all need to hear about every single allergic reaction on the world to peanuts? No, it does not.

Do we need to call the inventors of peanut butter names? No we do not. We eat peanuts or we don’t.

It is the same with the vaccine, get it don’t get. But calling the inventors of a vaccine names, inventors who have saved millions of lives, is, IMO, immature. But, yes, everyone has a right to be immature and call people names. I just don’t understand why it’s done.
 
Eric Clapton is someone with an obvious agenda. He has his beliefs. I'm thankful that he endured his illness, and is well enough to make a video. Of course, no one can positively know if his symptoms were cause by the vaccine, or not. But, out of the almost billion of injections given, there have been few deaths, and long term complications. In life, there are no guarantees. No one can guarantee that you won't be killed by a falling plane. Yet, there aren't bodies piling up outside of vaccination centers, either. And, even if you believe there is this evil Covid-19 cabal, every nation is doing the same thing- encouraging vaccination. It's hard to fathom that the entire world was hood winked into this vaccination conspiracy,
