I was never really into the McDreamy and McSteamy thing when Eric was on Grey's. But I got interested and kept watching The Last Ship on which he played a navy vessel captain. Now I'm watching him in another authoritarian role in Countdown. I like him in both of those roles. I was sorry to see this interview in which he talked about his ALS diagnosis and how it's already affecting him both physically and mentally.

This is heartbreaking 💔

I fell in love with him on Grey’s. His character was quirky, insouciant, a bit of mystery surrounding him.

I just hate this for him and his family.
I know what you mean Ronni. I'm sure the media will cover his condition as it advances. That will be hard to watch. 🥺

That's the one thing that we always have to remember that just because they're Superstars or Stars that they cannot avoid being human in certain issues.

Hopefully they have the decency to keep their distance. We don’t need to know the details. It’s ugly.
I doubt they will Jules. We've been getting updates on Bruce Willis' condition fairly often. It's celebrity news, they'll cover it.

From what I’ve seen though, the Bruce Willis news has been carefully curated by the family who release updates periodically, and have been uplifting and respectful, even though sad. I think they’ve handled the media/Bruce’s condition with grace.

Hopefully something similar will happen with Eric Dane.

I think it’s really smart for Celeb folks to recognize the avid thirst with which their fans, and thus the media, pursue news, so to release periodic updates as Bruce’s family has done, feeds the need and lessens the paparazzi stalking that celebs are plagued with.

I agree with you Ronni. I thought the same thing about the way Brucie's family is handling things.
