Ever Had a Crush on a Teacher?

I guess so. I married one of my college professors. He gave me a B in his course (economics). I made an A and had the paperwork to prove it. So I called and gave him a piece of my mind. When I finished threatening to sue him, he said, "I did that on purpose. I wanted to ask you out. Of course I'll change your grade back."

I was 22 and he was 35. We are still good friends after all these years. We divorced after 3 years of dating and 3 years of marriage. My stepdaughters are his children from his first marriage. Both families, mine and his, saw no real good reason to dislike each other, so we didn't and don't.
That's a lovely story, even given the ending. It's nice you're all still cordial.
My husband is 13 years older, as well.

In the 7th or 8th grade we did have a knock out student teacher for a month or so. Miss Richardson was just finishing up her degree, had a boy friend, and was engaged to be married (of course). I don't know that any of us boys had a crush on her. I think I would describe our feelings as awestruck. We never got to know her very well, she was nice, but distant. All I remember is that she was very pretty. And then she was gone.

Maybe it was more about personality for you.
It definitely was. Ms H.S. Lit-Teach was cute yet graceful, smart but savvy, witty and, somehow, meekly outspoken.
That's character, right? Yeah, I'd say it's her character that totally slayed me.

And I got a bonus (that's bonus 😜) - I joined the school newspaper staff and found out she was staff leader & writing editor. Loved having that extra time to just hang out with her.

(I wasn't a journalist; I was the paper's ad artist and editorial cartoonist)

Oh, Murrmurr, I did that too! I took my 7th grade US History teacher's Drafting class in the 9th grade. 😅

Oh my! yes. Senior year, art teacher. We spent most of the class talking about our weekends. I had a girlfriend, she was married. We talked the entire class. What she did, what I did. Occasionally she would address the other students about the projects they were working on and then return and the discussion would continue.. Being the only senior in the class I guess, satisfied the other students who might have wanted more attention, (remember seniority in high school).
She was a good teacher but young and just out of college.
Got an A in the class for what I don't know.
Had her for study hall and she sat behind me. She would kick my chair to get my attention. What? my reply. Talk to me she would say. I'm bored. So am I but I have to pass these exams.
She called me out of another class one time. I went to her room as requested. What's the matter? I have a flat tire she said. So I went out and changed it for her. Never went to the extreme with her but it was there. When I graduated I looked at her after the ceremony. Her eyes were wet, She just waved. Never forgot her.

Grade 9 high school I was in an all male class called Science, Trades and Technology and we all had a crush on our English teacher. She was fresh out of college so quite young. She was tall, blonde, pretty and wore mini skirts. We were all either farm kids or small town kids so a teacher like this was unusual.
I always liked English and did quite well in it which meant that I got to answer a lot of her questions in class and she liked my essays and such which got me more attention from her.
I was all of 13 when I started high school so I think I had a crush on any girl that took the time to talk to me.

After he did that and proved it, I went out with him. But not before I gave him the standard speech of if you ever hit me or otherwise abuse me, I will call the cops and you will go to jail. Or I can call my dad or my brother and you will soon be on the wrong side of the grass. Then he had to tell his religious beliefs because I would not go out with someone and risk becoming "unequally yoked" (don't ask).

I love your story....especially how he baited you with the B grade. :giggle:

I don't recall having a crush on any really attractive or handsome male professors. A few were amusing, witty, and quirky, so they were appealing in that regard.

Miss Fritch, on the other hand, comes to mind from my high school days. She was a gym teacher, but I never saw her do anything active other than walk and run a bit. She had just above shoulder-length platinum blonde hair fashioned in a slight flip, was built, wore red lipstick, a short white pleated gym skirt, and a form-fitting white t-shirt, and resembled Marilyn Monroe. No chit. She was always smiling and so sweet, a thing of beauty and a sight to behold. What's more, she drove a red Corvette. The boys were beside themselves, lol.
If I were a boy, I probably would've passed out at the sight of her!

My French teacher in junior high school in Florida (7th or 8th grade). Mrs. Adams (I think it was Mrs.). A pretty blonde woman in her late 20's or early 30's. I made sure I learned how to pronounce those French words just to impress her. Problem was, I couldn't remember just what the hell they meant in English.

No, never had a crush on any teachers. There were some who I wished I had for parents instead of mine. Some of my teachers were the only adults around me who didn't seem to be screwed up.

No! All my teachers seemed old and boring - most of them were at least 25 and some of them were even older than that!:)
