Ever Notice This?

I only said TGIF when I was still working, since retirement, I like the weekdays much better than the weekends. Less people in the parks, on the roads and in the stores. I don't like weekends either because there nothing on TV but sports and infomercials. :D

Weekends really don't excite me now compared to the younger years........when in the work life, Friday meant almost the start of weekend off.
Weekdays, enjoy the news.
Weekends, no good news.....now being retired, weekdays, weekends, just kind of blends in together.
But......
Thank goodness for cell phones, and tech stuff.......so i can check what day it actually is.

Well ladies, call me batty (LOL), but I have this psychological thing going on inside my head where once Friday rolls around, I like to have my grocery shopping done and out of the way, the house clean, the laundry done, and then I'm ready for the weekend.

The days themselves mean nothing to me per se, but somehow I just like weekends, even though as mentioned already, there are days (many days) where I forget what day it is and I have to hover the cursor over the time and date on the monitor to actually confirm what day it is.

Over the two week holiday period I had absolutely no concept what day it was, not that I’m much better on a normal week.
Yup, those two weeks left me all confused. The days didn't feel like they were right. Sat. felt like Sun. Fri felt like Sat. The I couldn't understand why the regular weekday TV shows were playing on a Sunday, till I found out it was Monday.
