Ever wandered hither or tither?

I've wandered most my life

Very done with it, unless it's a hike in the mountains

Always a fun trek

I've traveled and seem more vicariously on youtube than i ever could have in person, and in many ways enjoy that more than I would have in person. Better climate control, not beyond my physical capabilites (now or ever), better availability of snacks, safer, and can sleep in my own comfortable bed every night. But vicariously, just since retirement, I've sailed around the world with beautiful people who normally wouldn't hang out with me, hiked all three of the border to border mountain trails in the U.S., gone on 4WD expeditions from the north pole to the southern tip of S. America, had well researched and fully narrated visits to ancient civilizations and their archeological ruins, etc. etc. Who would have dreamed when we were kids that we could do this sitting in our living rooms when we are too old to ride a bike up hill anymore.

Hither or Tither.... back in Hampshire, we had "twittens" - these were passages between buildings and was short for "Betwixt and between".

Yes, I have wandered both Hither and Tither, both for work and leisure - and as soon as this Covid business is over, we'll be back travelling again.
