Ex WWF wrestling star Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka charged in 1983 murder in which he told police a girl friend hit her head but had cuts, bruises and signs of abuse including being hit with an object.

Snuka already lost a wrongful death lawsuit(but never paid) and records show he was arrested for assaulting her months prior to her death.

Grand Jury came about because of investigative report. Still wondering why no charges in 1983.

Ironically Snuka may never face justice being diagnosed with stomach cancer.

One has to wonder if steroid use was an issue with Snuka. Judging by 1980s pictures alone he was on them and numerous reports over the years of cited steroid use of these wrestlers. Snuka's stomach cancer maybe a result of years of use. In the 1980s it was mostly steroids because many of the supplements were not around or available yet. Many were oblivious to the side effects as well. Steroid use is not an excuse. Many drugs lower inhibition meaning Snuka was probably already short tempered and/or had no moral problems hitting women.

When the owner/gm is almost convicted of drug dealing/distributing steroids it's pretty safe to assume there was a steroid problem in the WWF in the 1980s.

One of the puzzling things here is why Snuka had Vince McMahon come with him to a police interview instead of a lawyer. I'm sure the WWF could have had a lawyer there when ever they wanted. Also that meeting was five days after. Snuka says he doesn't remember the meeting too well and that McMahon had a brief case with him. Those involved say McMahon did most of the talking but one of the law enforcement attendees doesn't seem to remember too much either.
