An executve chef from a San Francisco area restaurant robbed 3 banks in one day. The 62 old chef/suspect has done this before less than 10 years ago after a restaurant was facing financial issues.

So was he facing starvation or couldn't face the fact his business choices were not working

As has been said.."Crime makes ya stupid". What an idiot ! And what I'm wondering is why did he only get a year from robbing a bank the last time. I thought that was a federal crime that would carry a much longer sentence.

He is in California. They don't seem to feel jail time is good for criminals. Catch and release.
