Fake hitman for hire website attracts 120 people who want others dead

120 desperate people willing to shell out lots of money to "off" their 'loved' ones represents a tremendous business opportunity. But I have to admit that I'm embarrassed by the intellectual level of our American criminals. The Feds caught a bunch of them with a scam- Fake IDs.com. Send $500 and they will mail you your realistic fake ID. To get the ID, you had to enter your present address.;)

I think it was Baltimore P.D. that ran a deal where they offered free tickets to the O's games, if you came to a downtown location, with a Government ID. The place had CCTV cameras and just one entrance door that locked after a person came in. The ID was run in the back room, on the NCIC Police computer, and the caught dozens of people who had outstanding arrest warrants. The Toronto Police Service ran one that posed as a "we buy your old gold and silver " which they advertised in the criminal community, as a good place to sell "hot stuff ". Dozens of arrests were made. JimB.

It is amazing the level of stupidity in falling for these things..... the stings of just emailing or sending letter to people with valid warrants saying come in and pick your prize usually sports or concerts etc.... and the line was out the door....
i think it is great to get them to basically turn themselves in
the hit man thing i would think people would be smarter then leave an electronic trail........ if you find a real person who will do it they are in person things not a website.... what were they going to do enter their credit card.... lol
