Oh shame, I thought the music was relaxing ...but no matter, you still got to see the whole journey..
If I was even 10 years younger I would do that climb... I wish I'd known about it before now...

Holly, you might enjoy the photos of Horsebridge Station. They depict the trains that once ran, the station's dereliction and the magnificent restoration. We went to the wedding of my wife's ambulance colleague there, it was truly wonderful.

it's a great pity we've lost so many train stations to private homes... I suppose it's better than them being left empty but still... sad!!

Here the stations have become restaurants/coffee shops or galleries. Old rural schools and churches have become homes.

Some people go to great extent to get away from it all. I build things, I work alone and I loose myself in that work and the quiet. In the 90's I would buy 10 acres far from town and build a home by myself. Took about 10 months and the valley was nearly empty back then I even worked naked sometimes just because I could. When my ex-wife was in town she did not believe I painted naked so she came out and took pictures of me wearing a hat and boots while I painted the outside of the house. It is nice to be able to do whatever you want when no one is around. I did make her stay behind me!

I love seclusion and especially quiet but that is a bit to much for me.
I would much prefer a quiet place in the mountains with the sound of a waterfall or babbling brook.
