they looked like tartan pants to me - but really, a lot of loose pants and pyjama pants aren't very different.
I have patterned loose summer pants - they don't look very different.

Either way, the thread is about today’s fashions and that’s the fashion I am seeing.
There really is no right or wrong answer.

I take good care of my clothes and wear many old outfits I have, that are nicer than anything else I see.
I used to deal with Appleseeds and Blair on line but their stuff always looks the same as it did years ago- and their prices are way too high these days.

I have found nice clothes at yards sales and even the Salvation Army, which closed here about 8 years ago and we all miss it. I bought an Alfred Dunner blazer there years ago with the tags and price still on it. It was only $3.00!

What I don't like about today's clothes are the sheer leggings that are basically just tights worn with a short top. Just walking in their winter underwear.

I couldn't believe it when I saw this jacket in my favorite thrift-consignment shop! They had the nerve to be selling it for $14+. But people are wearing raggedy looking jeans that they pay good money for. It's in fashion now! Back in the day we would have felt sorry for a person wearing rags like that, thinking them to be indigent.
