An Oklahoma man or 'alleged' father played video games and did drugs/cocaine all night, falls asleep only to find his 2 children dead in his truck late the next afternoon. Children actually went into his truck and set off the alarm one time as well

Where do you start. The 'dad' is beyond negligent. The children should be playing the games, he supposed to be there for them. Children are not just a thing, something to do, keep up with the joneses. He fits the profile of a gaming addict as well because many gaming addicts wind up using stimulants to stay awake to play games. Also read other accounts where him and his brother another loser were complaining about the cocaine quality.

Not all of these are "accidents." Some parents use this as a way to get rid of their unwanted kids & hope to get away with it.
These parents were convicted only because they didn't know they were being recorded in the police interview room during a break. During their conversation, the mother said, "Don't worry, honey....they can't prove anything....."

I'm sure this happens more than it hits the news. In case of the OP I doubt he started playing video games or snorting cocaine after his children were born. It's one thing to go out on occasion, take vacations but that's about it for a real parent. If a person wants to or makes it a point to continue money & time consuming recreational activity after they become a parent that should be an alarm to those that know that new "parent".

I've known, worked, worked out with those types on more than one occasion and almost all of those people wound up in divorce court, got fired, their children had delinquency issues, etc. And like the OP they sadly frequently go down in flames after one major or catastrophic event.
