Favorite Opening Credits/Theme Song in Movies

Paladin1950

Still love 50's & 60's music!
Have you ever noticed over the years there were some movie opening credits and theme songs that you have always loved watching and listening to, over and over? Here are 4 that I never get tired of listening to. #1 is High Noon (1952). I have never liked country music, but I always enjoyed Tex Ritter's rendition of the title song. #2 is the 1960 version of The Magnificent Seven, with the music of Elmer Bernstein. This may very well be my favorite one. #3 is then 1961 movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's, with Henry Mancini and orchestra performing the instrumental version of Moon River. #4 is Born Free with British singer Matt Munro singing the title song.

I had to include my favorite James Bond theme, from my favorite James Bond movie, starring my favorite James Bond, that had my favorite name for a Bond girl, Pussy Galore. This was the 1st of three .007 theme songs sung by Shirley Bassey.
