Ugh; I had to call my financial adviser and request a chunk of money to help pay my quarterly taxes and of course got a patronizing mini-lecture on how I should be adding to my extremely small account, not subtracting from it. Like I don't already know that and don't have painful knots in my stomach.
He doesn't seem to grasp the fact that I wouldn't be doing this unless it were a true last resort. It's not like I'm flying off to a tropical island, or doing anything fun at all, for Pete's sake. Medical bills and taxes seem to be consuming everything lately.

I loathe having to withdraw money, and I
hate having to deal with this guy. Fortunately, I don't have to do it often.
After careful vetting, I started an Acorns account, which, unlike my current setup, permits small investments and round-up contributions. It's not much, but it's something.
OK, I guess I'd better get back to work and start earning money! And I need to drum up more work.
