I had a text from one of a few cousins that I've never met. Their dad joined the Army when he was 17 and never left California. One of those cousins has kept in touch with my oldest sister and with me. He's so excited and can't wait. He and his wife will land in San Antonio on Sept. 3rd. He is going to rent a car and travel to as many cities/towns and try to meet his cousins. He'll come visit me in the valley and of course will go to Uvalde (my hometown) to meet my sister Lucy and two other cousins.
