Here is a photo of 2 berets I've made recently. The blue one is felted and the lavendar one is mohair and silk. There are a pair of hand warmers on the legs of the doggy.

I have some of my mother's berets, which she wore with great panache, but they don't look good on me...darnit!
My dad wore berets, too. With his black-and-silver beard, he looked like some starving artist in a French garret in the 1920's.....very romantic and dashing.
