I could eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden sprinkled with a bit of salt, mozzarella cheese and some good olive oil. Now if I could only grow mozzarella cheese. I guess I need a cow for that. Old Betsy couldn't do anymore damage than the deer and groundhogs so I might as well get one.001 (800x600).jpg

Mmmm, looks yummy Ruth, and what a good feeling to know it's from your garden. Funny about ol' Betsy! :D

Thanks SeaBreeze, for awhile I thought the ground hog was going to win but I put some heavy old fence posts on top of the mesh around the base of the garden, which is on top of railroad ties. I guess he was to lazy to chew through the mesh or tunnel under the railroad ties. So far I've outsmarted him.
