Finding Gravestones in Your State

I grew up and lived most of my life in Ohio. Stumbled across this web site a few years ago.

So on my last trip back to Ohio in summer of 2014 I made it a point to take photos of and add several gravestones (including the one with my name on it...) to the site. You can search by name and/or by county, etc. If I ever move back to Ohio I am going to volunteer to take photos and upload.

Does your state (or similar jurisdiction) have a similar site? It would be tough here in Hawaii since we have so many folks of Japanese and similar heritage that many of the gravestones are in something other than our "regular" alphabet.

Cool that your found that. I had to look a long time to find where one of my former boyfriends was buried. Finding it gave me closure.
 
Interesting. I'm on Ohiogravestone but not on findagrave. (My name is on my first wife's monument, which is on both sites, but since I'm not totally dead yet I guess findagrave won't list me. )
