New Holland Honey eater.

There are a multitude of these small birds in my area.
They get about in flocks of about 20. Twittering and chirruping non stop.
I love listening to and watching them go about their business.
New Holland Honeyeaters get their name from the first name given to Australia which was New Holland.
It was called New Holland because the Dutch were the first Europeans to visit here.
