A flash mob from a party bus robbed a 7-11 in Huntington Beach California along with assaulting a store clerk.

Well, supposedly we can't say "thug" any longer. According to the PC police, "thug" has negative connotations. <snort> Well, if it looks like a thug, and it talks like a thug and it acts like a thug, then obviously it wants to be a thug.

Thug IS a negative description and always has been as far as I have learned English. I never met those police, so I'm unsure what you mean.
