Those wooden console televisions remind me of my father.

When he got old his console tv died and he used it for a stand to hold the new portable tv.

The model is no flat screen either.

Flat-screen digital TV’s will never give today’s youth the experience of struggling to adjust balky rabbit-ear antennas, or the exercise of getting up to change a channel and adjust volume!

That Tv reminds me of our old TV, Same style, but we had a matching 'stereo-ooooh1 I was not aloud anywhere the near stereo. And I was always yelled at for changing the channels on the TV " way too fast". BTW, it was the kid's job to get up and change the channel.
