Florida....Ice on the road last night.

It's about this time of year that I start thinking of the advantages of living...or at least spending the Winters...in Florida, or Arizona. We started out yesterday with freezing rain, which turned into about 2" of snow overnight, and it was 3 degrees outside when I got up this morning. It will be Tuesday before the temperature gets about freezing. The local news is full of accident reports...police are unable to respond to accidents which do not involve injuries....tow trucks are running 9 to 10 hours behind schedule...and when school let out yesterday, some of the students didn't get bussed home until well after Midnight. Ah, yes....the joys of Winter.

Where is Global Warming when we need it????

 Pappy! Had 4 inches of snow on the ground yesterday and 8 degrees outside....but I love winter as long as I have a house to warm up in. :p

Hey Hoot -- I heard somewhere on the news that it actually snowed a bit in Hawaii recently. Did you see any?

It occasionally snows up on top of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea, but I've not been up there to see it. I saw plenty of snow in Ohio to last me for the rest of my life! I'll stay on the beach, thank you very much....
