One of mine is Minute Jasmine Rice. I don't like a lot of Wmart things but this stuff is handy, wherever one buys it. I've really been into rice lately, of various kinds, brown, yellow, Mexican flavored, to go with Asian type meals. Generally I make up a big batch of whatever kind and flavor in various ways but I find these little cups very handy and when no time, I turn to them. You pull the top off, takes 1 minute in microwave and you fluff it like any rice. I'm not cooking for a crowd these days most of the time.
It's something lately I always keep on hand. I keep two packs generally, so 4. If I use one pack up (they come in a 2 pack), I replace it.
From there if you want of course, you can flavor it up. I often add a little soy sauce depending on what I'm pairing it with.
I pair it for one with the Great Value General Tso's chicken (they also have an orange chicken). Pretty good, two packets of sauce, chicken always pretty good for convenience, makes a few meals. I don't buy much for convenience type foods but there's a few I do like these for when I'm in a pinch.
I've used the rice in other ways too. Again, normally I have rice made up of some type but on occasion, these are very handy.
Can someone give me a hint on how to upload pics that are not too big?
