I'll be the first to ask: what is HP sauce???Usually accompanied by plenty of HP sauce.
It's a thick, spicy brown sauce....goes very well with bacon!I'll be the first to ask: what is HP sauce???

that's honestly the first time I've ever heard anyone say that they don't like the smell of it cooking ( except for vegetarians ).. most people say that the smell of bacon cooking makes them hungry..I love bacon but not the smell of it cooking so that is why I have not had bacon in three years.
incidentally..I just thought I'd tell you I've never heard of Rebus...Last night, I was watching a detective TV show..."Rebus"...set in Edinburgh, Scotland
and he was offered a Bacon Roll for breakfast.
Anyone? Care to describe..
Any good?![]()
You never slow down long enough to watch TV, LOLincidentally..I just thought I'd tell you I've never heard of Rebus...![]()
I could have had one tonight.. because I've got bacon in the fridge, but also today I bought some Scottish Morning rolls... but instead I had cheese on it..
we actually don't have that show on our TV as far as I know... I do watch TV lol... I watched something tonight... I usually watch while I'm having my dinner..You never slow down long enough to watch TV, LOL

oh it's an OLD show... right, maybe it was on years ago then... but I don't remember it.. I do know John Hannah tho'...Rebus is a greta detective series based on the Iain Rankin novels.
It ran here in Canada for the whole series about 10years ago.
Wish they would run it again. John Hannah played Detective Rebus in the first series.
easy peasy to make, as simple as can be.. in fact you can just put Bacon on any kind of bread roll... doesn't have to be a special type.. just remember to put butter on first.. not too thick.. ..think of it as like a BLT without the LT>>Those don't look to hard to make, just looked them up. I will have to give it a go. I love homemade breads and rolls. Having a stand mixer makes it easier than I thought.
