When we used to camp, I'd wake up in the morning not particularly hungry.....until I'd smell the bacon other campers were cooking outside and then I'd be ravenous, ready to eat the bacon raw if it wasn't done fast enough.

My mouth is watering right now, as a matter of fact.....

... that's something that can be discussed!

Except, We know there's Canadian bacon.

Are there many varieties, according to countries, regions?🤔
 
Seeing all these bacon pictures is making me think I will have to get to a restaurant for a meal that includes bacon. Maybe breakfast?

baps!!.. Baps are larger flatter and less floury than A Scottish Morning roll.....btw in Scotland for those who don't know , you wouldn't ask for a Sausage roll.. or a Bacon roll. or a cheese roll as you would everywhere else... instead you would request a Roll and sausage, Roll and bacon, roll and cheese..
 
I had a chance to have the kind of bacon you describe, Holly! There used to be a stall at our farmer's market which sold British specialties. We bought Bangors which I had never eaten before, and the bacon you mentioned. I have never gone back to American bacon, lol!

Later Rebus episodes featured Ken Stott. I think he was closer to the Rebus in the books - older, world weary and cynical.
I saw an adaptation of one Rebus book as a stage production. I wondered how it would work on stage, but it was really good.
