Food Shortages

I was in a Sainsbury's supermarket today and it
had no milk at all, didn't get a delivery today,
no drivers!

I read about the milk bottling people, Arla Foods,
having not very many drivers.

There is a shortage of truck drivers here, prospective drivers don't like the idea of maybe having to work longer hours. They would be paid of course.

As I have stated previously, I work part time for a very large food store chain. We are still having issues with having our food orders filled. I spoke with the Bob Evans rep just this week and she told me that almost 70% of their work force has been absent for over a year. That’s just one company that supplies us.
