We went to see her today. We were two guys in a sea of middle-aged women. :ROFLMAO: Anyway, she sold out two shows at American Airlines Arena, which is pretty impressive. She was hilarious from start to finish. She opened at 3:30pm by saying "I will get you out of here by 4:30 so you can go home, have dinner and be in bed by 7pm".

I've seen all of her stand-up on Youtube, and everything she covered today was new material. There was a particular segment about some friends taking her to a strip club in the basement of a hotel in Atlanta. She talked about a 70 year-old stripper in 6" inch heels, denim shorts and a crop top. She said she was afraid she would see Satan there but he'd probably said "No, I'm good." I was rolling on the floor. I know, you had to be there, but she knocked it out of the park!

She has a new Netflix special coming out on November 4.

 

I’ve seen one of her shows in person and really enjoyed it. I will say I think a lot of her humor is Southern USA influenced and can understand why it may not go over well in other areas. But for me there is a lot of truth in her humor and I recognize people I’ve known in real life in her jokes.
 

I love her. To me, the funniest comedians are the ones who have me howling and saying, "Yes! My mother/boyfriend/daughter etc. is EXACTLY like that! Yes! I ALWAYS do that!" You know, people you can identify with.

I have no problem with a moderate amount of profanity, but so many comedians apparently think that lots and lots of profanity is the equivalent of humor.
