Lon, you talk a lot about your Uber travels. Well, my city, Rochester, NY just got both last week. I can see myself using them next year, when we go down to one car. I guess both have gotten a lot of service. And interesting thing, they needed to get special permission to go to the airport. I think only one does now, forget which.

Commercial cab companies like YELLOW CAB obviously don't like Uber and are the ones that complained to the airports because they rent space there. Uber however does not need to rent space because they are just picking up and dropping off.

Both Syracuse and Rochester Airports collected a 2500 dollar one time fee from the ride hailing services for the privilege of doing airport business. There will also be a 2 dollar fee collected from each airport fare.
