For any and all members who appreciate intelligent, well acted films, especially history buffs, may I suggest the 24 hour epic film "War and Remembrance" from the Novel by Herman Wouk.
The historical film and novel takes place during WW2 from Pearl Harbor to August 1945.
Please note, this is NOT a war film as such, it is 90% about human relationships during wartime.
This film is not a "man's movie". It is meant for anyone , male or female, who enjoys great film-making.

One note of caution this film is sold either as a complete film and also as a 2 part film. I purchased what I THOUGHT was a complete film but it turned out to be only the 1st 8 parts. I had to purchase "The Final Chapters" separately.
