I knew about this, but don't really understand the new ruling. ... I get the regular registration in the mail in January - then inspection is due in March 2015. .. So, what to do? I'm not sure now.

Bite your tongue, Davey. NY started this years ago for $3 per inspection. Now, it's turned into just another rip- off. Expensive as hell and if you think it keeps the Junkers off the road, forget it. A lot of places you can go, slip the mechanic a $20 and you pass. Just another way to tax the man.
