For the depressed soul:

Gaer

"Angel whisperer"
Have I offended anyone yet? Before you read this, know these words are not mine, but from the Holy Angels about depression:
(I receive these words through telepathy) This is only for those in sadness.

"In the now existence, men are making ways of the depressed mind.
This sends thought into the atmosphere of sadness and melancholy.
It's a cycle for when picked up by the mind, gains momentum.
Wrong thinking comes from this.
It is to be that earth is enveloped in this.
In sadness, in fear, in hate.

The souls who have succumbed to this don't want to hear words to lift them from this.
They want to wallow in this and understand it.
This is as natural as the growth to happiness.
The thoughts sent will form what the lives will endure.
Expectations of the mind fulfill.

Should wonders befall in this life, they are gifts from the Heavens because
miracles cannot bloom from the depressed mind.
Angels cherish their charges and try to help in unknown ways.
Hatred in the memory holds wonders from occurring.

When joy comes and the heart is thrilled; when the mood of joyfulness
echoes in the soul, give thankfulness for all received.
For, to sustain this, is not a natural function.
To combat the lowly thought in the air of the earth,
to keep above the chaos, is difficult.

Sometimes it's not easy to live upon the earth.
When God is in the life, creative intelligence is unlimited.
If one area of the life brings discord, open a part of your creativity
to bring pleasure and fulfillment.
Adore your life and your surroundings.
Bring loveliness to all around you and joy to anyone or anything.
Send thoughts of love to anyone.
Make it a duty to affect life in a positive way."

Wow! What can a country boy like me say? What you believe you believe! And who am I to "blow against the wind?"

Once upon a time I too was depressed. I was in my 40s and teaching in a rather terrible teaching situation. However, today, I feel life is what you make it. Depression comes from being alone, watching too much television, starring too much at smartphones and maybe too much keeping up with those haywire Jones.

People is what matter. Forget the news, the internet and just live your life. Technology is the killer and it is technology that makes many of us depressed.

Gaer, thank you for sharing this. As someone who's long dealt with anxiety and clinical depression, it often feels like two experiences are happening at once. I can be in the depths of depression and yet still be thankful for blessings in life, appreciate beauty, etc. I can be completely dismayed with the state of humankind, while at the same time caring so much. I'm sure this is the case for many people. Perhaps just part of being human? I could go on, but I'll leave it at that. :)

despite eons on this planet and scriptures developed that advise well - we have not become wiser ; nor more caring and healthier - we continue to pollute and remain selfish - dismiss many of the sins of living and find it hard to lend a helping hand. We even argue about our 'religions' and have once fought battles over them! - Understand the universe ? - slowly - understanding technologies - slowly - understand human compassions - very slowly.

We remain a divided humanity in many ways

@Gaer - thank you Gaer - I agree known of us could string together thoughts like that - they need multiple readings to gain their full comprehensions.

Thankfully I can feel the same. There are days with joy and thank goodness. It just reaffirms just to take one day at a time
