For those of you living alone, do you sometimes get distracted easily?

I'm a bit puzzled as to what difference it makes if you're living alone or not ? I've never lived alone but find myself in many of the situations mentioned in this thread.

Like yourself, I’m not single but I do get distracted easily. Focussing doesn’t come naturally any more. It takes effect. I have to have an activity ‘to do list,’

I did actually burn some boiled eggs one time. I was in the back of the house on my computer and forgot about them until the smell made its way to me.

I don’t get distracted but I do set timers when I cook.

I put a Pan of Potatoes on the Hob to cook,then went into the garden ,It was when my dog was giving out her Pay attention bark,that i went in to her and could hear the water boiling over on the Hob .
