"Can I go to, or ??"

People here are panicking about travel abroad, they should
be wondering about their health and staying put, for a little
longer, the 100% release from lockdown has not yet happened
and some are off to warmer climes.

Personally I think that they should stay home for this year, they
must have something wrong with themselves when they are all
planning to take children with them.

The list of Countries is listed as traffic lights, Green, Amber, Red,
where they go determines if they have to quarantine on return,
where and for how long!

Some Ministers in Government say that they can go to an Amber
country and some including the Prime Minister say, NO you can't.

Weird situation again.

You're required to get certain vaccines before you travel to certain countries, and then your passport gets stamped...your regular passport. Yellow fever and malaria vaccines are common ones. You're required to get them about a month before you leave. I wonder why the covid vaccine isn't required for certain destinations, ones that still have a lot of active cases.

Physicist, Stephen Hawking, said it best, "mankind is stupid and greedy".

To add, as the old saying goes, "we are a product of our own making".

I’m not ready to travel Internationally, but I have and will continue to travel to states where I have friends. I had the Virus and also have been fully vaccinated. I refuse to live in fear.

I'd love to have a holiday in Europe, but even if I am allowed to go, I'll give it a miss until it's as safe, or safer than staying in the UK. As for the notion that "I'm vaccinated, so why shouldn't I travel", well vaccination doesn't guarantee that you won't catch Covid, it just reduces the risk and severity of it. Even if you don't catch it, many destinations still have restrictions and limited attractions, so why go if there's nothing to see or do?
