Probably just as well known for his work after leaving office as he was in office with things like the Habitat for Humanity.
Might not have been the sharpest president but I remember reading about the formation of Delta Force during the Iranian Hostage Crisis the officer who formed it felt he was dealing with an honest president/administration.

"Integrity" is not a term usually associated with a politician, but that applies to Jimmy Carter. What other President was actually building homes for the homeless. His compassion was legendry.
