Four Corners USA National Monument

This is a spot where the four corners of the states of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico share a common point.

I have never visited there.

If I ever did visit there, I would have my picture taken standing on the corner of just one state, breaking the tradition of all those before me who insisted on having their pictures taken while standing in all four states.

I've been there. Lived in Farmington, NM in 1961/62. No pictures. Oops.

We were there in 2014; beautiful area.

Been there a few times but before the days of always having a camera. And it is a beautiful area. Durango is somewhat close to there and is on my list of cities I would like to move to when I do retire.

I have read that the marker is not in the right place. I never got there.

Was there 10 yrs ago, not much to see at the site, but yes the area is beautiful as is the next little town..Pagosa-Springs,Co. I have heard that the marker is as much as six miles off. But I never heard in which direction? Think I'll do some looking, see what I can find out.

I luv traveling out west, need to get back to it....

The marker is off. When they measured they didn't figure in the earth 's curvature. When using GPS they realized it's not the right spot.
