Fraud And Scams

Just the other day I was wondering if the fraudsters and scammers would report me for misleading them. Like the medical insurance guy that calls and wants me to buy the insurance, then I tell him that it would do me no good because I am going to die tomorrow, then he hangs up. Like the car warranty guy that calls to sell me a car warranty then I tell him that I wrecked my car and can't drive it anymore, then he hangs up.

It’s not illegal to lie if they are the originators of the call.

Look for Tom Mabe or Jim Florentine on YouTube. They
also deal with telemarketers in creative and funny ways.

I got a scam call from The American Heart Association a few weeks ago, asking for a donation. The guy went into a speech about how heart disease is the number one killer, how many people die of it, etc. he went on & on for 3 minutes, then he asked, "Don't you want to do your part to prevent heart disease?"
I said, "No."
20 seconds of silence, then I said, "You still there?" He hung up.
