Funny Story From My Daughter's College Course

I encouraged my daughter to take Advertising and Marketing at College. I told her because I am a certified schizophrenic nut, I could help her with her assignments.

So her assigned task was to make up an Ad for Kraft Dinner...also known simply as KD in Canada. So I thought having Canadian singer KD Lang promoting the food would be fun. My daughter went with the idea and presented it in class to the teacher today.

Teacher: "This is awesome!! I've been teaching this Kraft Dinner lesson for 14 years and NOBODY has ever made such a wonderful connection like you did to the singer KD Lang!!

My daughter said she blushed knowing it was all her dad's crazy idea.

Another idea I had.

We have grocery stores here in Canada called IGA. I thought a fun Ad would play the Village People song YMCA...to the tune of...

"It's fun to shop at the I...IGA. It's fun to shop at the I...IGA."
