Bought a 🥭 mango..(told y'all it was only 49¢..in another thread)

Now..I'm thinking of planting the seed.

Has anyone planted to try to grow?...and was it a success..that it grew?

@RadishRose ..T Y..watched...did not know..v. g...gonna try..
Keep us posted. i believe a lot depends on climate or having a hot house.
At my first In Laws home in Guyana (tropic close to equator) we had to be careful where we dropped most any seed, as they all grew easily with little work. When i lived in Hawaii people were always offering us free mangos cause their trees produced so much.

Update: tried, tried, tried..could not open the stone...
to get the pit..
Although, I did find the notch...to get it open a bit.
But, that stone..is one tough 'dude'
So..I just dropped it in a jar of water with a lid..
Placed at a window that gets the morning sun..
maybe it'll root and break out itself.
HAve nothin' to loose.😉

I tried peach stones many years ago and am still waiting.
