Georg Duckwitz saved Danish Jews

What an awesome person! Years ago I read a true story about a woman that smuggled out babies from the Jewish ghetto because she went in daily with a big satchel. She doped the baby so it wouldn’t cry and put stuff on top in case they inspected her satchel. I can’t remember her occupation and why she was allowed in all the time.

She kept a list of who took the babies so they could be found after the war by their families. Lots of incredible bravery by ordinary people.
