Here on the Eastern Shore we eat Blue Crab, hard shell made in Old Bay seasoning. If you ever have any of these, you won’t be disappointed. I like the claws and back fin. What I don’t like is all the picking and digging to get the meat out.
 
When I were a lad, the local lobster fishermen regarded crabs caught in their creels as a nuisance and would give them away. Same with dogfish. Now you have to pay good money for edible crabs. I really like them, but they are fiddly to prepare.
