Getting things in order

My last two scuba classes are Monday and possibly Thursday next week. Thursday's class will depend on any last minute exercises needed to complete the course prior to certification. My left foot is weak due to an old childhood injury that pulls me to the left side for lack of strength and balance. I purchased a pair of webbed gloves to help compensate for the imbalance by sharing maneuverability with hands. There was difficulty in clearing my mask underwater due to excessive chlorine casing my nose to burn. Remedy, I bought an Aqualung Pacifica Purge mask for purging water out of mask.

I got an excellent deal purchasing an XL Aqualung 5 mm wetsuit and an Aqualung Black Diamond BCD buoyancy compensation device that came with a scuba knife, supported shoulder weight distribution belt and integrated weight system.

There are three items I need to complete my diving package, 1. weights, 2. 1st and 2nd stage regulators with octopus and diving console/computer.

All of this could be for not because I haven't taken the written exam nor have I mastered all of the skills set activities. The old saying putting the cart before the horse comes to my mind.

Today is employee recognition day where I work. In the past employees gathered at various state parks for food and festivities, however, because covid 19 Ithaca programs will stop by the SRO (program I work at) for recognition and gifts.

Have a great day
