Hi, you can call me Sweetie, or Sweets, just don't call me late for dinner.:)
I am a fairly witty poster, so bear with me.
I am married, I have identical twin sons in their twenties.
I do paint in mostly Pre Raphelite style.
I also sing and love dancing.

Now you can ask me some questions, and maybe I can ask some in reply.
Thanks in advance.

Did you ever wish you had a little girl to care for?
Not to be compared with your beloved boys but little girls are so much cuter. :lofl:

Haha. I’m sorry but you know me.

I know you like your wine. What types do you like and have you ever been to a wine yard?

What instruments do your sons play and how did they get into music?

How lovely to have twins... did you find them easy or difficult to raise?

Ask any questions you like...we're a friendly forum :D

Hi hollydooly gosh I nearly typed Hooly:D

Yes, a real challenge, they were born at 27 weeks, very premature, I almost died.
One of them has Cerebral Palsy, this gave him learning problems and he is partially sighted.
He needs 24 hour care still.
His Twin has two degrees and is a professional singer and musician.

Waht kind of music do you like?

Hi, my lovely friend. Yes I would have loved just one little girl, but we cannot choose, I blame my hubby he is a Gemini.:playful:

I drink German white wine, Known as Hock in the UK.

Vine Yard No, although I met some owners in New York that live in Germany, I may visit one day.

My son plays electric guitar an American Fender, also acoustic guitar, and he plays piano and keyboard, it drives me crazy at times.
His voice is his best asset.

Are you happy I am here at last?

LOL...instead you typed dooly ;)...Holly will be fine... :D

Oh I'm sorry that one of your boys has had to face challenges all his life, but I'm sure he's a joy to you as much as his twin.. do you have him at home ?..24 hour care is a huge undertaking..please feel free to ignore any questions you don't want to answer.....Is your musician son someone we'd have heard of..?

My daughter was a musician in her younger days..she played Bass guitar and had a number 2 hit in the local charts...

I'm a huge folk, and also country fan...but in reality I have very eclectic musical tastes

Hi Sweetie Pie! I think Ive met you on another forum but I'm not sure.

Did you have a fun Thread called the "Candy Bar"?

SWW was the forum I think.

That bar was started for me. I am still a member but mostly post at another British forum. I have my bar there.

How are you?

Hi again, my lovely friend gave me a prompt to come back.

Tell me about the place you live, please. x

I live in the northeast of the US; in New England, state of Connecticut. Since you visit NYC, you must be familiar with my area since it's not that far away.

I haven't had a German wine in many years. I think it was Liebfraumilch. :)

Yes, Liebfraumilch is similar.
No I have not visited your area, many other parts of your country though, shhh I love America.

Recommend me a nice wine to drink in New York, I will be going for Thanksgiving, I want to see the parade.
I am staying in Manhattan, nice and near to Grand Central.

Sweetie, New York state does produce good wine, but honestly, I don't know enough to recommend anything. I'm just what I call a Wino.

Yes I’m glad you are here.
No of course we can’t choose .
I’m not familiar with German wine. I think in my earlier years I’ve tried the one RaddishRose mentioned and it was very nice.

Thats interesting about the musical son. I think it’s a gift.
My late brother played a fender and a Rickenbacker back when he played.
I love singing too.

Yes your candy bar thread seems very popular

Thanks

LOL...here in the UK a Wino means a drop down drunk.... I don't think you meant that...

Holly, LOL it means that here, too. I just use it as a general phrase to poke fun at myself as I do enjoy wine, I'm not savvy about vintners, vintage ratings, "notes" and such. I do not wrap my bottle in a paper bag when I drink from it, however. dhUOuPYZcZvGXGxpJZZV.gif

As far as NY State, looks like 2014 and 2016 were pretty good.

It has its moments the Candy Bar. But, I have so many threads there including several in games.
I used to sing on stage when I was younger. I have also made some films - don't laugh, I played a psychic and it was broadcast in Japan.
I am terribly sorry about your brother, I lost my only sibling, my brother, he was only 38yrs when he passed away.
