Girl dies in hot car while 'dad' played video games, watched porn and drank beer

On one hand the doctor mother should've known enough about addicts to know her husband couldn't be trusted or change until he really wanted to for himself and not to appease others.

That being said the mother woke up albeit late about her husbands habit after evidence cameout that showed he lied to her. She is a doctor with a job and income so she'll probably wind up retaining custody. That being said local child protective services should be making several announced and unannounced visits to that household a year.

I'm a little confused. Was the other three children the doctors? It said the 17 yr old wanted to fight for the custody of the other two girls once she turns 18. If the other two aren't the doctors, then I wouldn't think the older daughter wouldn't have a problem unless the doctor adopted them. If they weren't adopted by the doctor, then she shouldn't legally have custody of them I wouldn't think.

(If I understand this correctly ) I think the older kids have a different mother. The 17 year-old wants custody of her half siblings. I would give them to her. The little ones' mother knew he had done this before, a neighbor woman had tattled on him several times after seeing him leave the children in the car. She apparently thought her hot-shot career was worth taking the risk of leaving her children with an unreliable porn-addict.

A few years ago this creep left his little boy to die in a hot car while he was looking at porn. I think there's a whole generation who grew up with internet porn and it seems to be the sort of thing where the earlier you start it, and more you do it, the more you want it. Just like drugs.

The alleged 'dad' /murderer was allowed to take family vacation to Hawaii late spring despite prosecution objections. What the heck was the judge thinking.

Dad who left toddler to die in car as he binged PlayStation approved for Hawaiian vacation

This might have made things harder to the suspect/alleged father to take responsibility or accept his fate. The children should've been learning to live life without their 'dad' around as well.

How many other criminal suspects are allowed to leave town before a trial?

Here's what I'm wondering, since she did have such a "hot shot" career as a doctor, knowing how unreliable the POS was and how he had put her children in danger before, you mean to tell me she couldn't afford to put the children in daycare? I wonder if she has sense enough to feel guilt and grief now that her daughter is gone? If so, it will likely haunt her for the rest of her life.

And as for the cowardly POS, maybe he offed himself because he realized he would probably receive "jail house punishment" on the regular for what he did to his daughter. Though I would have liked to see him punished to the max for his heinous crime.....good riddance!
