With indoor Google Maps, visitors can spend less time searching for building directories and more time discovering new points of interest. Simply zoom in and out of a building and go floor to floor with indoor maps.

I wonder how soon this will get down to grocery store layouts to help you find stuff while shopping?

Might it get down to searches for specific products? Maybe even coupon offers?

I could really do without installing a bunch of apps from various retailers, food chains, etc. Maybe it could even link to restaurant and food truck menus?

The store apps I have on my phone ( Walmart and Fry's) already have that feature. Fry's is the local name for stores owned by Kroger. Oh, and Home Depot does offer the same on their app.

Oh. Disregard my comment. You meant offering and indoor map without having to download all the different store apps. That would be nice
