The nice part about that colour, Ruthanne, is it will never go out of style. All of the bright, gaudy, and weird colours you see out there, they fall into the fad category, and within a year or two they look dated, out of place, and even more pukey. Thanks, I think I'm starting to like it, too. I never did like bright colored cars but did like black colored ones. The nice part about that colour, Ruthanne, is it will never go out of style. You did good!
Black is nice, I agree, but I much prefer the colour of your car, Ruthanne, it's more executive looking.I never did like bright colored cars but did like black colored ones.

Right on! You know, Ruthanne, another plus of the colour of your car, it should remain cooler in the summer heat, because the lighter colour will reflect the sun and heat more than black. Thanks!I have started to like the color gray more lately I noticed. Funny how one's taste changes over the years.
I noticed it doesn't get overly hot inside the car and it's 90+F outside here. Well, it was hot inside when I entered it but I've seen cars get way hotter.Right on! @Aunt Marg thank you for your interest!Ruthanne
Was just thinking about you this morning and would love for you to post an update for us as to how you're liking your new car.
- Things you like about it...
- Things you have learned not to like about it...
- New things you have learned about it...
Love it, Ruthanne!@Aunt Marg thank you for your interest!
I like the AC, that it's a 4 cylinder and easy on gas, the stereo/radio works well and has some good bass to it, too. I love that I haven't had any repair bills yet!![]()
It also has 4 good looking tires on it--not worn out.
I found it has a musty smell in it. The car salesman said it had been cleaned inside and the upholstery, too, but not sure I believe him. So, I used some Resolve carpet cleaner on the front passenger side carpet and saturated it with it. I am going to do the same to all the carpeted areas soon. I also took some really good smelling Fabreeze and sprayed all the fronts and backs of the seats really well. Then I replaced the old air freshener that was in there with a better one that looks like a small guitar and smells pretty good, too.
I plan on cleaning the other interior parts like dashboard, etc. in the near future with some really good cleaner that smells good, too.
I can't smell anything in the car now except for the scent of the little guitar hanging from the rear view mirror so that's a big plus.
A new thing I found is how to move the driver's seat back and forth for I'm a shorty and needed to move it up!Also, learned the type of gas to put in the tank and how to lock all the doors at one time.
